Hosting and server logs
Host Europe hosts this website. Technical access data such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser details are processed to provide and secure the service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Deletion follows the logging periods agreed with the hosting provider.
Enquiries via our own contact form
Our contact form runs on our Host Europe web server. It does not load an external form provider. When you send an enquiry, your details are emailed to waldlusthuettel@web.de, using info@waldlust-bischofsgruen.de as the sender. Room and event enquiries are handled to take steps towards a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); other messages are processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). The form does not store a copy of the message on the web server. The email is retained in the mailbox only as long as necessary to handle the enquiry or comply with legal retention duties. Necessary temporary session data are used to protect against spam. To prevent misuse, we also limit submissions per IP address using temporarily stored pseudonymised counters (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These do not contain message text; outdated entries are removed during subsequent form activity. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Completed booking correspondence is deleted from the mailbox after the guest has departed; other completed enquiries are deleted after processing unless legal retention duties or another lawful reason require longer storage.
External links and classification
Booking.com, maps, social media and travel information are external links; your browser only connects to those providers when you open them. The three-star classification is displayed locally as text and does not send data to Hotelclass.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Necessary session cookies (HTTP-only, SameSite) are used for the contact form and the protected management area.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
