Your host
Hans-Rudolf Hüttel has worked in hospitality for many decades. For around 18 years, he was responsible for food and beverage services at the Max-Reger-Halle in Weiden. He then ran the restaurant at Gaisweiher in Flossenbürg. Today he is once again fully focused on Waldlust, his longstanding home base in Bischofsgrün. Here he looks after his overnight guests and provides a welcoming setting for family celebrations, weddings and other events.

Is the restaurant open every day?
No. There are no regular public restaurant opening hours. Our dining rooms are available for celebrations and events arranged in advance.
Can guests stay overnight after an event?
Yes. You can ask about accommodation when enquiring about an event. Availability is confirmed individually.
Is dinner available for overnight guests?
Dinner is possible only by pre-order when enough guests are interested, or as part of a pre-booked event.
